I really love to go on "photo walks". I usually take my camera, a couple of lenses and some comfortable clothing and shoes. My friend is a photographer in Berkshire and he gives me tips. On my walks, I just start walking keeping my eye out for anything that would make a great picture. Sometimes this is easy. I might find pretty flowers, the light might be amazing or I might come across something really interesting. Other times I have to look a little harder to find something great. I was on a photo walk in my neighborhood which was a little boring. At least at first glance. As I got to walking around I found some great things to photograph. I found a nice red mailbox, a bird feeder and some snow on a pine tree. I was able to create some amazing images that day. If you are in need of inspiration, a photo walk is the best idea. It will get you to take photos of your surroundings and you will really enjoy what you find. |
