I wonder why people get scared when they get a job that they have always wanted and then they are issued with a computer and a task to get started with. This happens a lot of times and it may be interpreted wrongly to mean that the new employee is not ready for work. The difference between using a computer at home to do your own stuff and in the office to deliver a certain task is that the latter will need more commitment and it has to be done no matter what. This may be the reason why many feel threatened.
